About ME

Climate communications specialist| Strategic storyteller | Environmental advocate

I’m Anne-Sophie Clulow-Garrigou, a climate communications professional with over 14 years of experience in journalism, strategic communications, media relations, and campaigns.

In my current role as Campaign and Media Lead at EIT Climate-KIC, I led the development of our editorial, media, and campaign strategies. I work with communications colleagues to create content and outreach campaigns that raise the organisation’s visibility and thought leadership on systems innovation for climate action. I also manage media relations and have represented the organisation at events like COP27, COP28, COP29, and Climate Week NYC, to build strong relationships with media, funders, and partners.

I’ve launched two podcast series, crafted key organisational messages, and authored op-eds for external publications. I’ve also designed workshops and webinars to support internal teams and partners in communicating effectively about climate innovation and impact.

Before EIT Climate-KIC, I founded The Beam Magazine, where I created a platform to highlight sustainable innovations and share the voices of women and minorities in the climate space. I’ve always been passionate about making sure the stories that often go unheard are shared with the world.

I’m now based in Berlin and fluent in English.
